See you in Arrivals
In airport terminals. Long distsance love affair.
Getting cold in Cairo, and a little bit torn.
New language. Science. Art.
(My home, my heart)
In those days, time stretched forever.
(Eternity, my love. Eternity)
See you in Arrivals
In those days, time stretched forever.

Hopes and Dreams

In these chains, I've never felt secure.
And in these chains, I've never felt.
Chains change chains. Situations differ.
But these ties are never untied.
This is the place where you've always wanted to be
Solitude within these same four walls,
All the darkest hours are spent in homes.
Solidity is not here. Compassion never was.
I will remember. I remember.
This is the place where you've always wanted to be
These deep desires, something I've treasured.
The difference is a moment in time.
Step inside, let the door close gently behind you.
I remember.
This is the place where you've always wanted to be
This is the life you've always dreamed of.
This is the hope and dream

Enchanted when it rains around here
The dank streets, the depressing atmosphere.
(As the stars comes out)
A small break in the clouds as the stars shines through.
The loneliness that reminds me of you.
You never look to the stars my love
You never stretch out your hand too far
(As the Moon shines down)
It's not a problem with you, it's a problem with me
What I remember most, I wasn't always this angry.
This is an ending. This is an ending.
This is a way of me saying goodbye.

Simon's Ghost UK
Chris Smillie has been writing songs forever under a few different names but the one he always come back to is ‘Simon’s
Ghost’. The name is derived from a particularly good track by Factory Records band, Crispy Ambulance from the album, The Plateau Phase.
The first album, A Sea of Stars, is lo-fi electronica - New Order with Casiotones. The second, Cold, is a far harder new wave guitar sound.
